About Me

Hi there! I’m a fourth year undergraduate student studying Computer Engineering at Stony Brook University. I collaborate with Professor Alex Doboli on research in machine learning and natural language processing systems for educational automation and instructional support.

My interests lie at the intersection of machine learning, computer architecture, and hardware acceleration. I am particularly interested in designing efficient machine learning accelerators and hardware-software co-designed systems that enable high-performance and intelligent computing. My work explores how advances in both algorithms and hardware can be combined to make AI systems faster, more scalable, and more efficient.

Looking ahead, I plan to pursue graduate studies in Computer Engineering, focusing on machine learning systems, AI hardware, computer architecture, and hardware acceleration for next-generation intelligent systems.

[Nov. 2025] Appointed Machine Learning Lead at CRIZM, overseeing AI-driven initiatives.
Nov. 2025: Received the Best Poster Award at the ASEE Mid-Atlantic Section (MAS) Conference for presenting “Binary Classification of Histopathology Slides using Convolutional Neural Networks,” a CNN-based approach for breast cancer detection.
[Aug. 2024] Completed a Software Engineering internship at JP Morgan Chase & Co., developing interactive trading dashboards and reducing onboarding time by 40%.

Advice

I am grateful for the advice, ideas, and lessons I have learned from books, videos, articles, and conversations over the years. Many of these resources have helped shape how I think, solve problems, and approach life.

One idea that appears again and again is continuous improvement.

This idea is closely related to the Japanese concept of Kaizen (改善), which emphasizes making small improvements every day. Rather than relying on sudden breakthroughs, Kaizen teaches that meaningful progress comes from consistent effort over time. Whether in research, engineering, learning, fitness, or personal growth, I believe that becoming just a little better each day can lead to extraordinary outcomes.
